For 43 years, the Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) has been providing children and families in Independence, MO and across the Kansas City metro with support, counseling services, and prevention education to address child abuse and neglect. In order to maintain offices and facilities that support the organization’s work in Jackson County and beyond, CAPA has joined forces with the PlexPods at Westport to open an additional office in the heart of Kansas City. This co-working space in the beautiful old Westport Middle School will initially serve as a hub for CAPA Case Managers between family home visits, and plans are underway to further expand prevention education services in Kansas City, MO.
CAPA will be hosting an Open House and Birthday Celebration on June 27th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at its Westport location at 300 E. 39th St. in Kansas City, MO.
RSVP by calling CAPA at 816-252-8388 x. 313.
